Single Service Accommodation
At Essex Care Consortium offer a tailored approach to supporting people with learning disabilities, mental illness, dual diagnosis and associated needs. Sometimes, individuals prefer their own space and thrive in environments where they can live as independently as possible without compromising their safety or the safety of those caring for them.
Individual Empowerment Through Thoughtful Design
Within our registered services, we offer individually designed, independent flats. In these, clients can enjoy a unique and personal service built exclusively around their needs and wishes with as much or little support as required. This is offered under the wider security and support offered by a fully staffed registered service.
Individually Designed
Essex Care Consortium is proud to offer specialist single service facilities where every resident has their own individually designed flat with allocated staff members who have appropriate training, are familiar with them and can meet their particular support needs.
1:1 Specialist Staffing
Within our environment we are often able to support clients with 1:1 staffing with only an occasional use of 2:1 staffing for external visits, where previously a minimum of 2:1 staffing has been required at all times. This approach is made possible by the existence of the wider support network within the registered home.
Relief & Backup Support
Further staff support is available to provide relief for allocated personal staff and support as and when required.
Registered Security
Unlike standard supported living, these flats operate under our registered home framework, ensuring rigorous safeguarding and clinical oversight while maintaining the feeling of a private home.
